Hi folks! Greetings from a very unpredictable Edinburgh! The weather lately seems to change every two minutes: it goes from sunny to pouring rain to hail to strong winds in a matter of minutes – which makes it very difficult to decide whether a walk with Lana is a smart idea or not.
Happy Saturday folks! It’s so nice to be able to fit in my old clothes again – it’s like having a whole new wardrobe to try out! So this sunny Saturday I rediscovered my favourite skirt (inherited from my granny), my favourite necklace (second hand), my favourite cardigan (Monki), my favourite bag (from Mexico) – and introduced them to a new addition: a striped shirt I bought in a charity shop last week. All ready to go out for some lunch 🙂
As Lana has been a very alert baby who needs a lot of stimulation right from the beginning we have resorted to different toys to keep her occupied at least some of the time. When she turned 3 months a few days ago she was finally old enough to try her doorway jumper – and as you can see it was a winner 🙂
First of all; Happy Finnish Mother’s Day to my dear mother and all the wonderful Finnish mothers I know!
Thought it would be nice to put down some thoughts about what motherhood has been like up until now – Lana was 3 months old yesterday. It seems like a good time as I’m now finally starting to feel that things have settled down and I feel a bit more in control…I also feel like I’m back to normal both physically and mentally. Plus it’s Mother’s Day of course 🙂
A few weeks ago I entered a competition on the lovely Elisabeth’s blog Dragonfly and was lucky enough to win a necklace by Iki Koru – a Finnish jewellery collection made from recycled materials. The necklace is just my style, so I was over the moon when I won 🙂
