A Cute Office Visitor

Hello all,

It’s been a warmish and sunny day here in Edinburgh, and it just hit me today that it’s mid-April already! That’s only a month an a half until summer! Woohoo!

This morning we had this little fella sneak into the office, and since he/she refused to leave we just let him/her hang out with us the whole day. (It says a lot about what kind of office it is!) It looked quite malnourished and scruffy, so we fed it twice and gave it some water. It had a flea band, but no collar with contact details on it – we tried calling a cat rescue home, but they just told us to let it back on the street. I seriously considered taking it home with me when at 5pm we had to kick it out. If it’s there tomorrow again I might just do that…

The move to Stockbridge is getting closer, took some stuff to Matthew’s parents house during the weekend and just sold our dining table on gumtree. I hope I haven’t gotten too used to all the space in this flat, as our new place is a lot smaller. What I’m 100% sure of is that I won’t miss the horrible pub across the street!

My granny turned 101 on Saturday! My mum sent me this photo, and I was glad to notice that she too has a fringe now 🙂 Wish I could’ve been there to celebrate! I’ve said it before, but what really gets to me is when I can’t be there to celebrate my friends and family members on their special days 🙁 (It was also my dad’s birthday yesterday .)

She looks pretty fresh for a 101 year old doesn’t she?!

I’ve been teaching Matthew Swedish to the best of my abilities, and I thought that if I put up notes in different places around the house he’ll learn easier. Taking a look at the notes now makes me realise the slightly bossy tone they’re written in…(Maybe it’s my subconscious hoping that these little “messages” will make Matthew do the dishes more often and get up earlier in the mornings?!)

On Friday it’ll be our 2-year anniversary, so looking forward to a romantic dinner somewhere 🙂

Have a good week everyone, and remember to take care of your cats!

Söt kisse, men tänk om hen har nån ohyra? Och fina lappar, fast du har rätt i att tonen är lite mästrande … Men kanske det är två flugor i en smäll.

Oh poor cat. Alot of cats do have perfectly good homes but still like dining out though. :)Think your cat may be a she as tortoishell coloured cats usually are.

She it is 🙂 She looked like she hadn’t been taken care of, she had a sore on her cheek and was walking funnily. Plus she was only able to make strange noises, nothing like a normal cat sounds like…But apparently she would’ve been waiting outside for more food if she had been a stray cat – so let’s hope she’ll find her way back home! 🙂
