The lovely Bosgård Farm is run by two of my friends and located around 10 kilometres from Porvoo. I’ve visited for a pool party a couple of times, but haven’t had lunch at the restaurant or walked around the grounds before. So, a sunny Wednesday a few weeks ago was the perfect day to finally pay the farm a visit!
The main manor house is a stunning yellow building that offers meeting facilities and can be pre-booked by groups.
The restaurant and deli from the outside.
We did one of the nature trails – just love the red colour against all the green. A reoccurring theme in Finnish landscapes.
Such an ornamental house – pretty!
Just love the ruggedness of this wall.
My mum liked it too 🙂
This traditionally made fence was a nice touch as well.
The path was surrounded by raspberries everywhere, so I tried to eat as many as I could 🙂
Lana trying a raspberry too.
But since it’s not milk she’s not a fan!
I bought this dress in Koh Tao, Thailand, in 2007 and still wear it on hot days!
Organic cows. Looking pretty relaxed!
Inside the deli – the best bits of the cow.
You can get some take away meat too.
We had lunch at the restaurant – Matthew got the BBQ burger with meat from the farm of course. I had some barbecued veggies with cheese. All very tasty and accompanied by local beer as well.
And Finnish Coca Cola.
They had a little bee farm on display in the restaurant – trying to find the queen here.
