Brand New Godparents

During our stay we were asked to be the godparents of my little nephew, which we’re extremely happy about. I feel very honoured to be trusted with such a wonderful task – it’s one of those jobs you don’t say no to 🙂

During our two-week holiday we got to see our little godson pretty much every day, and we’ve got the photos to prove it (we’ve literally got hundreds of photos of the little cutie). I also don’t know how many hours I’ve spent staring at him, wondering whether our baby girl will be that little as well… It’s strange how fascinating babies are although they don’t do much more than sleep when just a few weeks old!

Here are a few photos of my nephew with his new, very proud godparents.

Can’t wait to see him again!

I’m a Swedish-speaking Finn who left Finland for the lovely and thrilling London town in 2011, but after meeting an equally lovely and thrilling Scotsman I somehow now find myself in the beautiful city of Edinburgh. In February 2015 our gorgeous little girl arrived and made us a happy family of three. Follow my blog and get to know us!

Super adorable! Last Saturday, Lårtza and I were asked to be godparents to my nephew. We were of course more than happy to be that! As I mentioned, I think godparenting is a lot about religion, but on my to do list was already anyways to start understand “believing” better. Forgot to say last time that many of these blog posts, at least the one “Are you ready for a baby?”, you have to glue in you baby’s book, it is super interesting to later remember the thoughts and also for the child to later read about it.

Congrats to you both as well – it’s such an honour isn’t it! I guess godparenting is originally a religious thing, but that’s not something we’re going to focus on.
