DIY Cushion Case

Happy Friday Everyone!

Thank you for all the follows – it is so much more motivating to blog when knowing that there are more people than just my mum reading!

Just wanted to share what I’ve accomplished this morning, before 11 am and all ๐Ÿ™‚ As we just moved in to a new home I wanted to make something for the house, and thought some cushion cases would be ideal as we had a couple of old cushions hanging around. The fabric is from Ikea (called ‘Stockholm’) and very good value for price. I watched the following really easy tutorial on YouTube – I dare you to try it out! (Having a sewing machine would obviously make it easier, but you can do it by hand as well.)

This is the end result:

Next project is to make a summer dress using the fabric above. I’ll let you know what the outcome is (if it doesn’t go horribly wrong).

The weather has been great all week (I’ve actually managed to burn myself when out running), but of course it is cloudy when the weekend is here…Still have hope though.

Have a great weekend!
