Seen one of these before? It’s my brother’s new toy – a remote-controlled mini helicopter used to take photos or film from above. When my bro got the helicopter out we all just flocked around him to see this amazing technology in action. The chopper can fly up to 500 metres! I was surprised by how good the quality is and how steady the drone is.
Boys and their toys…
My brother and his groupies.
It looks like a little UFO and sounds like an angry bee when in the air. A bit scary.
Don’t know what my brother was thinking, but he let Matthew try his new toy…I was too busy snapping photos that I forgot to ask if I could fly it too. I’m sure my brother would’ve let me – right, Tom?
An iPad is attached to the control so that you can see what you’re shooting.
You get a sore neck from playing with the Heli-Cam though.
Lana slept through the whole performance.
Posing with the stroller…
You’re probably wondering how the images from above turned out? Here you go:
On the ground still.
A bit higher. The helicam is taking a photo of me taking a photo haha.
We’re getting smaller.
And even tinier. Can you still see us?
And here you can even see my parents’ house. (It would be too complicated to explain which one it is…)
A very entertaining toy indeed. And no Matthew, you can’t have one.

PS. Tomorrow Matthew will come over, yay!
