Don’t know if it’s just me, but it seems like the older I get the more I can appreciate the small things and see beauty in places I didn’t before. Like the reflection of a grey sky in still water and the contrast of red buoys 🙂
The other day my mum and I took Lana for a walk down to the waterfront in the village they live in – and I honestly can’t remember having been there although I’ve lived there for over 10 years! Anyway, I got so inspired by the red buoys against the grey and green that I spent 15 minutes just snapping photos.
It was such a still day that the water reflected the grey clouds perfectly.
Is it just me or aren’t those red buoys pretty?
Two red friends.
How many birds can you find? (Including reflections.)
My mum wanted a picture of this pretty purple flower that grows by the sea.
These guys are having a party.
A little philosopher.
We continued along the shore and came across this pretty traditional fence – that I probably wouldn’t have looked at twice before.
And this boat.
50ish shades of grey.
There were some really nice houses just by the sea that I wouldn’t mind living in…Might have to go back and take some photos 🙂
On our way back we walked past this pretty red grass.
And I managed to get this busy little bee in my photo too 🙂
