OOTD – Wedding Day Evening Outfit

We’ve been married for a week now and everything has changed. Nah, just kidding ๐Ÿ˜› Everything is the same, apart from that our little family just feels even more whole now โ€“ very hard to explain…It’s definitely going to be difficult (and strange) to remember to say husband though! Anyway, thought I’d share my outfit from the night of my wedding.

I liked the dress I got married in but felt that I wanted something a bit more edgy for the evening. Metallics are pretty big at the moment and I think matching it with something soft and romantic like a tulle skirt would create a nice contrast, which it did.

I absolutely love my new mohair pilot cardigan by up and coming Finnish designer Samuji โ€“ it’s so soft and it’s the perfect length. It’ll be one of those pieces in my wardrobe that I’ll wear for years to come I’m sure. The shoes I’ve had for years (think I bought them when I was still living in London) but I still wear them quite often. Good buy in other words! So here are a few snaps by Matthew before we headed out for our wedding dinner:

Iโ€™m a Swedish-speaking Finn who left Finland for the lovely and thrilling London town in 2011, but after meeting an equally lovely and thrilling Scotsman I somehow now find myself in the beautiful city of Edinburgh. In February 2015 our gorgeous little girl arrived and made us a happy family of three. Follow my blog and get to know us!
