Pregnancy Photos From Week 40

Since my waters broke on my due date just a few hours after these photos were taken I haven’t had time to post them yet. But I still wanted to publish them here on my blog so that I can go back and see how big I actually got!ย

I was lucky as my belly didn’t prevent me from sleeping well throughout my pregnancy, but have to say I’m so much more comfortable now when it’s gone! It’s also funny how my constantly blocked nose, heartburn and occasional restless leg syndrome, as well as the leftovers of my cold disappeared immediately after I gave birth! Luckily the belly seems to be disappearing a lot quicker than I thought as well ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s strange, I both miss and don’t miss my belly at the same time – maybe my brain hasn’t fully grasped the fact that my belly has “transformed” into my beautiful little baby girl?!

Iโ€™m a Swedish-speaking Finn who left Finland for the lovely and thrilling London town in 2011, but after meeting an equally lovely and thrilling Scotsman I somehow now find myself in the beautiful city of Edinburgh. In February 2015 our gorgeous little girl arrived and made us a happy family of three. Follow my blog and get to know us!

Aw beautiful! I love bump pictures but never did my own, mostly as I was a whale of a pregnant woman and had more bumps than necessary! Stevie x
